Livelihood
Tyreek Hill, a Georgia native, began his football career at Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas.
He made a name for himself as a second-year student and was in high demand as a junior recruit after leaving Garden City.
In 2014, he made his debut with the Oklahoma State University Cowboys, catching six passes and earning 62 receiving yards.
Unfortunately, he was dismissed from the team in December 2014 after being arrested for domestic violence.
Next, he moved to the University of West Alabama, where he played as a running back, wide receiver, punt returner, and kick returner for the Tigers.
Entry into the NFL
Although he was likely not to be selected during the 2016 NFL Draft due to a domestic violence allegation, he still managed to succeed.
After impressing scouts at West Alabama’s Pro Day, Hill was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round as the 165th overall pick.
His selection made him the first player to be selected from West Alabama since Ken Hutcherson in 1974, who was selected by the Dallas Cowboys.
Although the Chiefs were criticized by fans for selecting Hill, he signed a four-year contract worth $2.58 million in May 2016.

Hill began the season as the team’s punt returner, kick returner, and fourth wide receiver behind Chris Conley and Albert Wilson.
During this season, he was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team and was named to the 2017 Pro Bowl as a punt returner.
By 2018, Tyreek was named to the Pro Bowl for the third consecutive time and was named to the First-team All-Pro.
Along with this, Tyreek Hill was also ranked 19th by his fellow players on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2019 list.
Heading to the Super Bowl
2019 got off to a rough start for Tyreek Hill, who was suspended from team activities due to a child abuse investigation.
However, after he was found to have not violated the league’s conduct policy, he signed a three-year extension for $54 million.
Unfortunately, he suffered a shoulder injury during the first match of the season and couldn’t return to the field until the sixth match.
After returning to the game, Hill was able to help quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs clinched a spot in Super Bowl LIV against the San Francisco 49ers.
During the Super Bowl, he caught nine passes, including a 44-yard catch to help the Chiefs win 31–20.
The following year, Hill became the first player since Lee Evans to record 200 receiving yards in a quarter and was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
He also made it to his second Super Bowl, this time against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he earned seven catches in the 31–9 loss.
miami dolphins

When it was all done, he signed a four-year, $120 million contract with $72.2 million guaranteed.
This may not have made him one of the richest NFL players in the world, but it did make him the highest-paid wide receiver in the league!
During his first season with the Dolphins, he managed to reach career highs in both receptions and receiving yards.
He also helped the Dolphins to the playoffs, and although they lost to the Buffalo Bills, he was ranked 7th on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2023 list.
In his second season with Miami, Hill believes the Dolphins are better than the Chiefs were during their Super Bowl year.
